Group Home Services

MHY Family Services operates Therapeutic Group Home Services for boys, ages 11 to 18. The program has 24 hour-a-day awake supervision seven days a week. The program offers a highly structured daily routine that includes a variety of competency building groups, recreational activities, counseling groups, daily living/life skills responsibilities and a variety of therapies. The low staff to resident ratios and a well-defined daily routine provide stability and active supports for residents.

MHY Family Services’ Residential Programs utilize trauma informed care. Specifically, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and principles of the Sanctuary Model.
