As a residential youth at MHY Family Services, your son or daughter will receive individual therapy, group therapy and family therapy. MHY Family Services in on a sprawling 70 acres. The campus includes a recreation room, gymnasium, school, cafeteria, fishing pond, fire pit, trail, sports court, swimming pool, and the residential houses. MHY Family Services offers a variety of residential programs.
As a student at Longmore Academy, your average class will be 6 to 10 students. As a Private Academic School, licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, Longmore Academy administers the Woodcock Johnson reading assessment, Star Reading, and Star Math assessments to all students. . The results of these tests are used to place the students into our reading and math programs. Students are taught at their current math and reading skills. Longmore ‘s curriculum is aligned with the Pennsylvania Department of Education Common Core.
Working beyond the the Mars campus, our community programs reach youth, adults and families in their homes and in their communities, throughout Western PA, helping families to remain together.
