Intensive Aftercare and Community Monitoring

The Intensive Community Monitoring and Aftercare Programs are designed to provide home and community-based monitoring, supervision and aftercare services for youth that are at-risk to commit additional juvenile offenses. Through the provision of services that are consistent with the standards of the Juvenile Court Judges Commission for intensive monitoring and intensive aftercare probation services, the Intensive Community Monitoring and Aftercare Programs seek to prevent youth from further and more serious involvement with the juvenile justice system.

Currently serving Venango County, the goal of these juvenile justice programs is to prevent youth from experiencing further out of home placement, to remain in the community with their family and to receive the necessary supports and services available. Highly trained specialists contact youth in a variety of community settings and facilitate the participation in various activities like community service, volunteerism, and other pro-social activities.

Eligible youth for these programs are Venango County juveniles who are primarily referred to the program by a judge or juvenile probation office.
