Are you looking to start your Volunteer Journey with MHY Family Services?

MHY welcomes those who wish to share their gift of time. Each year, hundreds of youth are impacted by the efforts of volunteers. We have opportunities to accommodate the interests, skills and abilities of all who are interested in lending a helping hand. Because of friends like you, youth in our care benefit from your donation collections, have freshly painted cottages, enjoy summer field day experiences, and so much more! There is much to be done and we need your help today.

Each and every volunteer experience is different. Our staff will work closely with you to identify passions, interests and skills that match our needs and wants. No two volunteers are the same in what they bring to the table, so each opportunity is unique to that volunteer—if you're not happy with the work you're doing here, we can't be happy either! We offer opportunities to work directly and indirectly with our youth, visit once or many times, bring yourself or bring a group. Our schedule is flexible and the opportunities are endless.
