Partnering with School Districts to Support Student Success
As a licensed private school for grades 1–12, Longmore Academy supports students with behavioral and mental health needs through personalized instruction, therapeutic services, and life-skills development. We help students build the skills and confidence they need to succeed in a structured yet adaptive, therapeutic learning environment immersed in nature.
Longmore’s curriculum integrates traditional core subjects with electives in art, music, current events, creative writing, STEAM, and career readiness. The Sanctuary Model is embedded in the fabric of the school, faculty, and students, creating a safe, nonviolent environment for everyone. Our life skills classes focus on opportunities to identify and develop interests in careers and vocations. The extended school year and summer school programs provide students with academic programming that reduces the likelihood of regression during the summer months.
