Join MHY Family Services for the Opening of a New Therapeutic Kindergarten Program at Longmore Academy in Mars, PA

OVERVIEW: MHY Family Services is holding a ribbon-cutting ceremony marking the official opening of Longmore Academy’s new Therapeutic Kindergarten Program, a specialized learning environment designed to provide individualized therapeutic support and nurturing care for kindergarten-age students. 

Representatives from MHY Family Services and the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh will be in attendance. The media will have the opportunity to tour the classroom and speak with program staff.

WHEN: Tuesday, July 14, 2026, from  1:00 PM to 2:30 PM

WHERE: MHY Family Services (521 Route 228, Mars, PA 16046)

WHO: Leadership and staff from MHY Family Services, Longmore Academy educators, representatives from the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh, and program partners.

WHY: The Therapeutic Kindergarten Program reflects MHY Family Services’ commitment to meeting children’s social, emotional, and developmental needs from the very start of their educational journey. The program will offer specialized therapeutic support within a structured, nurturing kindergarten environment.
