Volunteer with MHY
Are you interested in supporting MHY Family Services through donation drives and volunteer opportunities?
MHY welcomes individuals and groups who want to make a meaningful impact by giving their time or organizing donation efforts. Throughout the year, youth in our care rely on the generosity and support of our community to help meet their everyday needs. From clothing and toiletries to bedding and school supplies, donation drives play a vital role in providing comfort, stability, and dignity.

“I’ve been volunteering with MHY for several years and have seen firsthand how important both donations and volunteer support are to the youth they serve. These contributions go beyond meeting basic needs—they show kids that people care about them. It’s incredibly rewarding to be part of something that brings comfort and hope to those who need it most.”

Ways to get involved
In addition to donation drives, we offer occasional volunteer opportunities for those who want to get more involved. Volunteers may assist with organizing and sorting donations, supporting special events, or helping with projects such as painting, landscaping, and facility improvements. Whether you’re hosting a drive, lending a hand when opportunities arise, or doing both, your involvement makes a real difference.
Each experience is unique, and our team will work with you to match your interests and availability with current needs. Whether you’re participating as an individual or part of a group, we aim to create meaningful opportunities whenever possible.
