MHY Family Services’ In-Home Treatment Programs provide intensive, research-supported services for children and adolescents ages 9 to 17 who are facing serious behavioral or mental health concerns and are at risk of being removed from their homes. Since 2000, MHY has delivered these services through the Multisystemic Therapy (MST) model, a nationally recognized, evidence-based approach with a strong record of positive outcomes.
Through MHY’s In-Home Treatment Programs, youth and their families achieve measurable growth, stronger relationships, and improved functioning across home, school, and community settings. By partnering closely with families throughout the process, MHY helps prevent out-of-home placement and promotes lasting, meaningful success.

To best serve the diverse needs of youth and families, MHY offers three specialized MST models: MST–Standard, MST–Psychiatric (Psych), and MST–Problem Sexual Behavior (PSB). Each modality is tailored to address specific challenges while strengthening family relationships, increasing accountability, and resolving underlying issues that contribute to problem behaviors.
Therapists provide services directly in the home and community, working in the settings where difficulties most often arise. This hands-on, family-centered approach emphasizes practical skill-building, improved communication, effective parenting strategies, emotional regulation, and responsible decision-making. Families are empowered with tools and strategies they can use every day to create a safe, stable, and supportive home environment.

MHY’s MST-Psych program delivers intensive, home-based treatment for youth ages 9 to 17 facing complex psychiatric and behavioral challenges, helping families build stability and keep young people safe.
MST-PSB
MHY’s MST-PSB program is the only evidence-based treatment for youth ages 9 to 17 with problem sexual behavior, delivering intensive, family-centered care to reduce reoffending and support lasting change.
