Donation Refund Policy

If you have made an error in making your donation or change your mind about contributing to MHY Family Services and Mars Home for Youth Foundation, we will honor your request for a refund made within 15 business days of your donation. To request a refund, call (724) 625.3141 x 228. Refunds are returned using the original method of payment, except cash donations will be returned via check. If you made your donation by credit card, your refund will be credited to that same credit card.

Privacy Policy

MHY Family Services and Mars Home for Youth Foundation respect and protect your privacy. MHY Family Services and Mars Home for Youth Foundation will never sell or rent your personal information to other individuals or companies. When you donate, your name will be included in MHY Family Services and Mars Home for Youth Foundation newsletters and other publications. If you do not wish to share your name, or you choose to make your donation anonymously, MHY Family Services and Mars Home for Youth Foundation will not publish your name. Donors who wish to remain anonymous, must specify this request in the notes field of the donation payment screen.

When you create an account with MHY Family Services and Mars Home for Youth Foundation you will receive an acknowledgment of your donation for your records, and occasional email and postal delivery updates. If you do not wish to hear from us, simply specify this request in the notes field of the donation payment screen on the MHY website, unsubscribe from any emailing or contact us directly at (724) 625-3141. Please allow for up to 30 days for removal of your name from our email and mailing updates.

Memorial or Honoree Gifts: Memorial and/or honoree gifts may be made and will be published in MHY Family Services’ Annual Report. Acknowledgments will be sent to individuals as indicated in the honoring gift as well as to the donor. Individuals receiving the honoring notification may receive email or mailed correspondence unless otherwise requested.

Changes to the Policy: MHY Family Services and Mars Home for Youth periodically review and update our policy for communicating with you via occasional email updates. We will post any updates about that policy on our website.
